It is almost impossible to express in words the appreciation and thanks that my family and I feel about the care, you and your staff have given my mother over the past 7 years.

In later years when my mother became bedbound the level of care given to my mother was above and beyond your legal requirements and the call of duty, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

I have often been told that over a period of time a Manager gets around her the quality of staff that she deserves and I think it’s fair to say that your current staff are of the highest quality.

Now that Christmas has passed and we look forward to a New Year I wanted to write and express my appreciation to you and all the staff at Thomas Gabrielle for the care and attention you gave my mum during her time with you.

We well recall the day mum first came to the home: she was not in the best of health (having been discharged from hospital) but actually within a very short period of time she did pull round and soon looked in a much better state.

Staff Nurse Marcia was very kind and helpful and gave us reassurance at that time and we had confidence that mum was in the place that was able to best deliver her needs.

Eventually Mum settled in and was generally very comfortable in the Home and always spoke highly of your staff, Both (family member) And I, and all our family were made to feel welcome by Staff when we visited and were always met with kind words of greeting and smiles.

Of course to have lost a Mum, Mother-in-law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother has been awful, particularly at this time: but we take comfort that Mum’s last months were spent in a caring environment and we thank you all for that.

Just to let you know that I visited a lady recently and found that the care was of a particularly high standard. The home environment was 'homely' rather than institutional and all the staff were very involved. It was a pleasure to visit.
